  • About us:

    • We are a successful software company with more than 16 years on the market, delivering products to companies such as IBM, Microsoft, Siemens, Citibank, Disney, Accenture, Mozilla and hundreds of more worldwide-recognized brands;
    • our flagship product, CKEditor, is the built-in WYSIWYG editor in Drupal since Drupal 8;
    • we are based in Poland (!).

    What do we have for you:

    TL;DR: working on a contrib module that the Drupal community dreamed about.

    Long version:

    CKEditor 5 will soon replace CKEditor 4 in Drupal core. The integration is done by the core Drupal team together with us. Apart from offering better user experience straight in Drupal core, CKEditor 5 allows us to offer additional features to Drupal, through a contrib module. We have ready-to-use functionalities that the community is looking for: real-time collaboration, comments, track changes, sophisticated revision history, export to PDF/Word and more. Those functionalities need to be integrated with Drupal 9/10. - We have already a prototype done with an outsourcing firm, however as a product company we love to rely on our own, strong and stable team to develop it further. The prototype already received amazing feedback at DrupalCon Portland, where we exhibited and made a presentation, so you may be sure that you will work on something awesome used by hundreds or thousands of companies.

    If you:

    • have several years of experience with Drupal 8+ and some experience with writing modules;
    • are an intelligent, pragmatic, self-driven and diligent person;
    • you prefer to solve problems instead of delivering tasks assigned by PM;
    • have the attitude of an owner of a project, not being afraid to take the responsibility and make decisions; If you never did this, we can teach you that by showing how we make good decisions.
    • feel that you are able to be a partner to the community/customers (i.e. on a public issue tracker) - we have QA & Customer Care teams to help;
    • have reasonable knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS; (junior+ level is fine for all of them);
    • are okay with doing other PHP-related tasks from time to time;

    … then we are looking for you :)

    In return we offer:

    • a project that will give you a lot of satisfaction;
    • large independence, but at the same time a team of people willing to help you, if you need any help;
    • a chance to attend conferences with us (if you like). We exhibited at DrupalCon Portland, and plan to go to DrupalCon Prague;
    • total monthly compensation package range for this position is 16 800 PLN - 25 000 PLN, which includes a base salary and an annual and quarterly bonus. Available forms of employment: agreement B2B or contract of employment;
    • English lessons, additional days off and financial resources for personal development (up to 5 days and 6.000 PLN yearly, depending on the work experience);
    • private medical care (Enel Med or Medicover) and Multisport card;
    • all necessary equipment such as laptop, additional monitor and accessories;
    • flexible working hours - you start at the time that suits you. If you need to go out somewhere - no problem;
    • you can work 100% remotely or from our Warsaw / Poznań offices (no dress code, no open space, chill room with foosball and ping pong table).

Being a part of the CKEditor Team you will be working closely and collaboratively with Project Leaders, Developers, and the QA team.

    Your role:

    • using practices such as code review, pair programming, TDD, and Algorithms;
    • sharing good practice on programming standards, tools, or other processes;
    • you'll be developing features and services that will directly impact our customer's experience and speed up our company’s growth.

    If:

    • you feel like taking up the challenge of working with us on an application used by millions of users;
    • you have at least 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer;
    • you would like to work with pure TypeScript;
    • despite the knowledge that you already have, you feel there is always more to learn;
    • you are focused on quality, tests, simple solutions, and clean code;
    • you have a good command of English (at least B2),

    … then we are looking for you 😊

    In return we offer:

    • a great atmosphere in a team of talented developers who are nice people, too :)
    • flexible working hours - you start at the time that suits you. If you need to go out somewhere - no problem;
    • the total monthly compensation package range for this position is 14 000 PLN - 24 000 PLN, which includes a base salary and an annual and quarterly bonus. Available forms of employment: agreement B2B or contract of employment;

    • private medical care (Enel Med or Medicover) and Multisport card;
    • you can work 100% remotely or from our Warsaw/ Poznań offices (no dress code, no open space, chill room with foosball and ping pong table).

    Our recruitment process:

    • a short Zoom meeting with our HR team to get to know each other better;
    • technical part with tasks to be completed on the Coderbyte platform;
    • HR interview;
    • technical interview with one of our Senior Software Developers.

    What’s to be done?

    After becoming the leader in the industry, CKSource was acquired in 2021 by PSG, a private equity fund investing in growing software companies. There is a lot of potential in what else we could do and how we could do things better, that’s why we decided to strengthen the product management part of the company. Believe it or not, we reached close to $10m of ARR without a single Product Manager. Product management was split into multiple experienced people, which worked but is inefficient and limiting as we grow further. By joining us as the first person in this position, you have a chance to take a key part in product development.

    Help us choose you!

    1. Explain shortly why you are the best candidate for this position. Please keep in mind that:
      • we have a portfolio of very complex software products
      • our products are not only ready-to-use applications but primarily complex APIs consumed by developers
      • our target audience is mostly developers, and sales calls oftentimes cover the technical internals of our products and the way they relate to various web frameworks
    2. Answer this question: How well do you know the software industry, SaaS, web applications, and ways to reach developers?

    If you don’t have several years of experience working in the software industry around software products, that’s a must-have to have your application considered.

    In return we offer:

    • competitive salary;
    • fully remote position or work from offices in Warsaw/Poznan (up to you);
    • flexible working hours - you start at the time that suits you. If you need to go out during the day - no problem;
